To play along, go to your photos file and type that number into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find under that number and include a link to your blog in Judy’s Numbers Game blog of the day Judy Dystra-Brown – The Numbers Game . If instead of numbers, you have changed the identifiers of all your photos into words, pick a word or words to use instead, and show us a variety of photos that contain that word in the title.
Here’s our edition……….. questions or interest in purchasing? Let us know!

What stunning photos. Your bird photos are amazing…and is the cloud a volcanic eruption? I just keep going back and looking at the photos again. Curious about how many years the photos depict. You must have a very active life scouting out wildlife. Thanks so much for sharing your photos.

Thanks! You are always so complimentary, which is so very much appreciated. We’re happy to hear that you enjoy our work. So far with your numbers, a lot of the images are more early on in our years as photographers. We’ve worked as professional nature and wildlife photographers for nearly 40 years! Hard to imagine it has been that long, alas, I’m dating us. As you suggested, it’s a profession that does in fact count on active scouting and traveling but we are lucky to live in rural Colorado where we have our own wildlife such as turkeys, lots of other birds throughout the seasons, including hummingbirds, bears and mountain lions. Your numbers game gives us another opportunity to show our work. The lower numbers like “212” do steer my choices to earlier work, but it’s a good trip back in time in our files. Thanks for all you do!

But that 212 can occur anywhere in the number. 1212,2212, 3212…or 160,212!! That’s the fun thing, I think….seeing a random number of photos that have only that in common..and remembering past times. You must have some wonderful stories to tell, as well. With words as well as photos. How did you market your photos?

Oh, thanks Judy. I did figure that out a couple posts ago. We have thousands of images so even 2120 is a low number for us and since it’s all organized in categories, some categories (ie; mammals>bears) have thousands of images while other categories are below 1000. We market through book publishers, calendar companies, magazines as well as having had an agent some years ago.

Correction: Neglected to answer your question about the cloud. I responded about another image that I was thinking about for another post and didn’t pay attention to what you were referring to. Perhaps you were talking about the Poas Volcano foothill shot with the clouds built up beyond the grassy hillside? Those clouds were building below the hills around the volcano. Not an eruption.ulus cloud. The only shot of a volcanic eruption, was of the one with Volcan Arenal and the blast of the eruption spewing from the volcano in Costa Rica. Hope that really answers your question. Thanks for all your interest!
